American Classic Homes is looking to add staff members with experience and a positive attitude. We are looking for a detailer/technician to work on a variety of construction projects, ranging from individual luxury homes, to larger sub-divisions, townhouses, and apartments. Responsibilities

The detailer will work closely with the superintendent and help supervise field activities and vendors with scheduling, quality assurance, and safety program enforcement. The detailer will also help finish homes and ensure they are clean and complete for our homebuyers.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years experience in the construction industry with a general contractor. - Hands on experience with a variety of trades - Being a team player - Working in a fast-paced, high demand atmosphere

Looking for experienced superintendent for residential construction projects that range from individual luxury homes, to sub-divisions of all sizes, and attached homes.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that all projects are performed in accordance with contractual and quality standards; Scheduling and directing the daily activities of work and taking necessary action to assure that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality and process are met; Maintaining daily paperwork such as timecards, field reports, schedule updates and E-mail correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues; Implementing incremental project schedules that make sure upcoming events are on track and are being proactively attended to; Promoting and maintaining a culture that values safety, health and cleanliness. Conducting and/or attending pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetings. Participating in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with electronic purchase order and scheduling systems.

Qualifications

A.S. degree in construction management or similar or five years of direct experience; Minimum 5 years experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor; Experience in managing a direct hire workforce and subcontractors; Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry.
