An active, well-informed, and passionate group of citizens remain committed to sharing Newcastle's history with visitors and residents. The City celebrates Newcastle Days, a community festival, each September. The City was officially incorporated in 1994 and today has a population of 10,410.

Newcastle has over 40 acres of developed parks and offers an incredible network of trails including the beautiful Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park.  One of Washington's premier golf courses, The Golf Club At Newcastle, is just minutes away offering some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of all of Lake Washington, Mt. Rainier,the Olympic and the Cascade mountains and the city of Seattle you will ever see.



Eden's Grove is located in the Renton School District where amazing things are happening. One unique example is The 5000 Project. Another is with their continued efforts to improve on their ability to raise the bar on their already high rankings in outperforming other school districts in assessments. Both parents and students alike rave about the schools. A great place to raise children.



Hazen High School is known for having extensive extracurricular activities, both academic and recreational and is unsurpassed.  Academics are strong and award winning choirs, drill, DECA, art programs and athletics are the icing on the cake.

They bend over backwards to help students succeed. One of our children went to a nearby High School in another district and if we had it to do over again, we would have sent her to Hazen instead. McNight Middle School is made up of bright and diverse student body.  One-third of which make the honor roll(3.2 GPA or above) on a consistent basis.  McKnight's programs serve students of all abilities from advanced learners to mildly and severely disable students
