The City of Sammamish is one of the most highly sought after places to live in Washington State. And it’s not the first time Sammamish has won a place in the heart of the its residents in the USA. In 2015, Sammamish was voted the Best Suburb to Raise a Family and in 2012 it was also voted America’s Friendliest Town. It's no wonder why with the city containing some of the best school districts in Washington State.
Recreation: The city offers plenty of recreation opportunities for it's very active community. There are plenty of water recreational activities to do on Lake Sammamish, as well as Beaver Lake and Pine Lake. There are several city parks to hike and explore including: Beaver Lake Park, Pine Lake Park, Sammamish Park, and Ebright Creek Park. Sammamish also has two private golf courses – Sahalee Country Club and the Plateau Club.
Schools: Sammamish is served by both the Lake Washington School District and Issaquah School District. These are two of the most highly acclaimed school districts in Washington State. Included in the Issaquah District is Skyline High School which boasts a superior football program with seven state titles, Many of Skyline’s alumni have gone on to pay Division 1 college football. Sammamish is also home to Eastside Catholic School, a faith-based private school for grades 6-12.
